Last Updated: May 1, 2026
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), and certain other U.S. state privacy laws, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and the use of your personal information for "targeted advertising" or "cross-context behavioral advertising."
1. What This Means for Doorstoop
Some of the advertising, analytics, and measurement Cookies and Similar Technologies used on Doorstoop (the "Site"), including pixels and tags operated by third parties, may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law, or "targeted advertising" or "cross-context behavioral advertising" under other applicable state privacy laws. The categories of personal information that may be sold or shared include identifiers, internet or network activity information, approximate geolocation, and inferences. The categories of third parties to whom personal information may be sold or shared include advertising networks, analytics providers, social media platforms, native advertising and content recommendation platforms, and affiliate networks.
For more information about these technologies and the vendors involved, see the Cookie Policy.
2. How to Opt Out
You may opt out using any of the following methods:
- Consent management interface. Use the cookie banner or consent management interface on the Site, where available, to disable advertising and targeting cookies.
- Global Privacy Control. Send an opt-out preference signal through Global Privacy Control. Where required by law, we will honor GPC as a valid opt-out for the browser and device on which the signal is received.
- Opt-out link. Use the dedicated opt-out mechanism here: .
- Email. Send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share."
3. Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly. California requires written authorization signed by the consumer or a power of attorney under the California Probate Code.
4. Scope and Limits
Opt-out requests apply to the browser, device, or identifier from which the request is made. Because the Site does not require accounts, we may not be able to apply opt-outs across different browsers or devices. We do not commit to honoring GPC outside jurisdictions that require it. Certain technical, security, fraud-prevention, and operational data processing is not subject to opt-out under applicable law.
5. Children
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
6. No Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
